Swami Dinesh Bharti delivers religious discourses

JAMMU, Sept 22: The seven -days long Bhagwat Katha by Swami Dinesh Bharti started at Gurukul, Barnai today.
Hundreds of devotees drawn from different parts of Jammu and its outskirts participated in the inaugural programme. Swami Dinesh Bharti gave religious discourses on Lord Krishna’s life and spirituality.
He, while highlighting the teachings of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta said that it is the unique scripture in the world which shows the path how to get rid of bandages of life and attain Mooksha.
Swami Ji also threw light on Sanatan Dharam and its teachings. He said Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta is a perfect guide to a human being and he who acts as per its teachings will never face any problem but will overcome the worldly bondages and attain perfection in the life.
Swami Ji while making a reference to Bhagwat Geeta and the piece of advise given by Lord Krishna to his beloved Arjuna who wanted to leave the battle field and renounce world, gladly took to arms to fight against the injustice after Lord Krishna showed him path of righteousness.
He said in present time the situation is same as evil forces have entangled this universe from all sides. Maintaining that teachings of Bhagwat Geeta are as relevant today as they were at the time of Maha Bharta, he urged the people to be fair in their day to day activities of life and follow the teachings of this sacred book to overcome their all problems and difficulties.
Swami Ji said that Bharat Mata and Cow are sacred for Hindus and every  Hindu respects both. “We worship both Bharat Mata as well as sacred cow in whom 36000 Goddess and Gods are present’’, he added.
