SVLARC releases community magazine ‘Vishwakarma Reporter’

Community magazine being released by SVLARC at Jammu on Saturday.

JAMMU, Oct 2: Shree Vishwakarma Library and Research Centre (SVLARC), New Plots, Jammu today released its community magazine: “Vishwakarma Reporter” (annual).
On the occasion, J R Sagar, renowned actor was the chief guest. All executive members of the Library, were present on the occasion and hoped that readers shall enjoy contents of the magazine. Ram Lal (Principal Retd,) Chairman of the Library lauded the role of editors for their tireless efforts to bring out this publication inspite of recent lockdown and restrictions imposed.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest J R Sagar said that publication of community magazine is a difficult job and those who have compiled it, deserve appreciation. He said such publications go a long way in integrating the community. The magazines disseminate the information to the remotest last man in the last row.
Ramesh Angotra (Convenor), of the Library conveyed that magazine is playing big role in eradication of social evils, inspiring the youth for education and bringing the awareness among the masses in remotest of the corners of J&K UT.
On this occasion, three students were also honoured for their outstanding achievements. They were Minerva , resident of Bishnah for her 96.8 percent marks in 10th Class, Tanvi Salgotra, resident of Akhnoor for her 83.4 percent marks in M Sc, and Krishna Salgotra , resident of village Gopala ( Akhnoor) for his admission in Rashtiya Military College Dehradun.
Those who were present on the occasion, included, Raj Kumar Chalotra, Raman Chalotra, Vishal Krotra, Nisha Dusgotra, Master Pritam Verma, Kamal Verma, Hans Raj Chargotra, F C Satia, Rajinder Sikka, Abdul Qader, Monu Verma, Harbans Lal Harsh, Rattan Bhardwaj, Jeet Raj Kalsi, Kalu Ram Salgotra, Om Kataria, Master Kuldeep Malhotra, Neelam Verma, Avtar Verma (Panjabi Poet), Balwant Kataria and others.
