RAJOURI, June 2: While carrying forward various development works in Rajouri, today, MLC Vibodh Gupta inaugurated spacious Vishal Mega Mart in the presence of Surinder Pal Gupta and Kamlesh Gupta.
While addressing the inaugural function, MLC, Vibodh Gupta emphasised the need of flourishing private sector in Rajouri. He said that Vishal Mega Mart is first big and exclusive showroom opened in remote area of Rajouri, which is a welcome step.
He congratulated Rakesh Mahajan proprietor of Vishal Mega Mart in Rajouri.
Speaking on the occasions, Rakesh Mahajan said that “Vishal Mega Mart” was his dream project. He expressed gratitude to people of Rajouri for their massive support and good wishes and promised them to render more services in future.
Lauding the efforts of Rakesh Mahajan, MLC Vibodh Gupta said that the opening of such showrooms will benefit the people of Rajouri in various ways.
Many people from Rajouri during marriages and other function use to travel Jammu for shopping and other requirements but now Rajouri is progressing towards a self-sufficient and self-reliance economy and market, offering a variety of goods and services, he asserted.
Vibodh also said that the present Government in the State and Centre is committed for all-round development of Pir-Panjal area. He stated that ensuring sustainable development in all sectors is key agenda for Government. The construction of four laning between Rajouri- Poonch will further enhance the development of private sector in the twin-border districts, he added.
While citing the example of Vishal Mega Mart which has provided employment to about 70 youth, he said that the upliftment of business and private sector in Rajouri will generate new employment opportunities and it will also boast the economy of the district.
He asserted that in the recent time Rajouri is emerging as one of the most progressive district in the State.
Speaking on the occasions, he also lauded the role of youth in the development of Rajouri. While interacting with youth, he apprised them with various schemes such as MUDRA launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to help new and young entrepreneurs to grow and develop their business. Under Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojna non-corporate, non-farm small and micro enterprises can avail loans up to 10 lakh.
The loans are given by commercial banks, RRBs, small finance banks, cooperative banks, MFI’s and NBFCs. He asked them to avail full benefits of these schemes and take lead in all sphere of life.
