HAPUR, Aug 8: Ashes of senior BJP leader and former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj was immersed in the holy Ganga here on Thursday.
Bansuri Swaraj Kaushal, daughter of the departed leader, performed the rituals in presence of her father Swaraj Kaushal amid chanting of mantras by priests.
Swaraj, 67, died following a massive cardiac arrest in New Delhi on Tuesday night.
She was cremated with full state honours at the Lodhi Road crematorium in New Delhi on Wednesday. (UNI)
