The system will be quite helpful in keeping a tab on anti-social elements and criminals who frequent such places in hordes. This in turn will help in safety and smooth pilgrimage to lakhs of devotees who throng this sacred shrine annually.
Besides, police personnel who are deployed there may feel a bit less pressure in company of CCTVs.
CCTV Surveillance system has become an essential system in strengthening security apparatus in the world. It is heartening that the SMVDSB is making full use of latest science and technology for the benefit of pilgrims.
