Surinder heads Katra Raghunath temple committee

KATRA, May 19: Noted social activists Surinder Sharma, was unanimously re-elected as president of old and historic Raghunath Ji Temple, Katra Mata Vaishnodevi here today.
In a general body meeting of the Temple Committee held here today at the Temple complex in presence for former minister and senior Congress leader Jugal Kishore Sharma, Councilors MC Katra- Ravi Sharma and Ravi Nag, former president Raghunath Temple Committee Jagdish Verma, Ex-Chairman Krishan Purohit, Varinder Kesar ( Sr vice president HRAK), Kuldip Kesar, Sham Padha, Ram Murti Purohit ( ex-members) and others, noted social activist Surinder Sharma (Adv) , was elected as president of the committee for the second consecutive term.
The president was authorised by the general house to nominate 11-member committee of the Raghunath temple. The newly elected president extended gratitude to the members for reposing faith in him.
