JAMMU, Dec 18: A boy hailing from Surankote area of district Poonch has topped in the J&K Combined Competitive Examination 2014, the result of which was declared by Jammu and Kashmir J&K Public Service Commission today.
According to Sunita Anand, Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission, a total of 175 candidates appeared in the interview for the 51 posts referred by General Administration Department (GAD) in 2014. Fifty-one candidates qualified the interview and have been called for Medical Examination in accordance with the relevant rules, she added.
Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak (1901209), son of Mohammad Bashir Khan, a resident of Surankote in Poonch district topped in the examination by securing 1514.33 marks, while Aliya Tabassum (1702375), daughter of Ghulam Mustafa, a resident of Kishtwar came at Number two by securing 1475.56 marks. Fareed Ahmed (2201971), son of Bashir Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Bhaderwah stood third by securing 1467 marks.
Kashyap Neeha Pandita (2201316), daughter of Roshan Lal Pandita, a resident of Jagti township, Nagrota, Imtiyaz Amin Naik (2202553), son of Mohammad Amin Naik, a resident of Pul Doda, Dhruv Gupta (1901364), son of Rohit Gupta of Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and Syed Sahil Ali (1901524), son of Munir Hussain Shah, a resident of village Gohlad, Tehsil Mendhar secured fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh ranks by securing 1460.11, 1458.11, 1454.44 and 1444.44 marks respectively.
The eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh ranks were clinched by Nirbhay Sharma (1901255), son of Charan Dass Sharma, a resident of village Mooni, Tehsil Billawar, Ganie Nisaki Ul Farooq (1901268), son of Mohammad Farooq Ganie of village Thatharka Surranda Gool, Pankaj Singh (1901334), son of Parkash Singh of Kot Maira, Pallanwala Khour and Sunny Gupta (1702768), son of Raj Kumar Gupta, a resident of Rajinder Bazaar by securing 1441.11, 1438.56, 1428 and 1424.11 marks respectively.
Kifayat Ali (2200327), son of Ghulam Mohammad Peer of Nowhar, Charar-i-Sharief, Irtiza Jeelani (2000727), daughter of Gulam Jeelani Bhat of Madina Colony, Feet Road, Ilahibagh, Mohammad Altaf Ganie (2200659), son of Ghulam Nabi Ganier of Nagam Chadooran and Rakib Ahmad Ganie (2200335), son of Ghulam Mohammad Ganie of Arigam Khan Sahib secured 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th ranks by securing 1420.11, 1418.89, 1417.50 and 1417.33 marks respectively.
Samridhi Sharma (2201191), daughter of Gharu Ram of Ekta Vihar Kunjwani, Sumit Suri (1901287), son of Rajinder Kumar of Sunderbani, Afshan Hamal (1901951), son of Imtiaz Ahmad Hamal of Bagwan Mohallah Kishtwar, Sobia Fatima (1701536), daughter of Sajjad Hussain of Kishtwar and Varun Kumar Choudhary (1901142), son of Vijay Kumar Choudhary, a resident of Shant Nagar Janipur secured 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th ranks respectively by taking 1411.56, 1402.61, 1402.56, 1402 and 1393.67 marks respectively.
