JAMMU, May 8: Jan Sampark Abhiyaan led by DSSP reached Akhnoor Sub Division today.
A rally led by Ch Lal Singh and other top leaders of DSSP started from Kameshwar Temple and finally culminated in a local farm after passing through main Bazar of Akhnoor.
Ch Lal Singh, former Health Minister while addressing the mammoth gathering gave a clarion call to the people to support the movement of Jammu as a separate state with article 371. It is only through this article that people of Jammu can have a sigh of relief from all kinds of sufferings.
He elaborated in details all the pros and cons of the present dispensation and apprised the gathering the maneuvering against the Dogra community which need to be exposed and end in all respects.
Party senior vice president KD Singh Jamwal and general secretary Dr H D Shishu while addressing the gathering appealed the youth of the area to support the movement launched by DSSP for Jammu as a separate state with article 371 to give justice to the coming generations.
It’s only the panacea that has potential to end all kinds of suffering and pains of people of Jammu province which include all the ten districts.
Senior leader Prof H R Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
Lal Singh along with senior party leaders also visited the residence of Shaheed Neelam Singh and expressed his sympathy with the bereaved family.
Prominent among those who accompanied the campaign included vice presidents S Balbir Singh, Suman Wazir, Advocate BS Jamwal, Romesh Tickoo, Jatinder Papu, MC Ashok Sharma, Prof Pardeep Kumar, Narinder Sambyal, Sunil Dutt and others. The program was organized by Block president Rahul Dogra.
