Sunil visits Chug, distributes relief among fire victims

JAMMU, Nov 21: Former Minister and general secretary, BJP J&K, Sunil Sharma visited Chug village of Gandhari, Sub Division Paddar today and met the victim families whose houses were damaged in a massive fire incident during the intervening night of October 27 and 28.
He further assured that every possible support would be provided for their immediate rehabilitation. He distributed ration, blankets, clothes, pulses etc to the bereaved families. Meanwhile, Sharma also provided ex-gratia relief of Rs 60000 (Sixty Thousand) to each affected family as an immediate relief and assured timber and other required materials to build the new houses.
He also said that losing a home in a fire involves not only the loss of one’s residence, but also many other things of value. At this difficult hour my thoughts and prayers are with the affected. He also said that he will take up the matter with the administration to work out for an additional compensation for the victim families.
DDC Paddar, Hari Krishan, BDC Paddar, Kartar Singh Rathore, Bharat Singh, Janki Nath Manhas, Shashi Badyal, Bal Raj Parihar, Chamail Singh, Manohar Lal, Sazzar Hakam Singh Tiari, Sunder Singh Chouhan, Rajinder Singh, Raj Kumar, Sarpanch, Khaim Raj Thakur, Subash Khajuria, Ganga Ram Gunhal,  Baldev Singh also accompanied the former Minister.
