KISHTWAR, Sept 14: Blacktopping work on the road leading to historic temple of Mata Ashtadash Bhuja Shri Sartahal Devi Ji was started today by MLA Kishtwar, Sunil Kumar Sharma.
Prominent persons of the area and concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion the MLA said that Sarthal Devi Ji road suffered political vendetta and thus lacked proper development.
He said, since the Sathal Devi shrine witness heavy rush of devotees from across the country throu-ghout the year it became an important road for the commuters and it was the need of the hour to develop this road.
He also said that agenda of all round development without discriminating on any base will be practised by him.
He also condoled the deaths in today’s accident and prayed for early recovery of the injured.
