Sunil lays foundation stone of Sarthal-Kunja Road

KISHTWAR, Dec 31:  Minister of  State for Transport (Incharge) Public Works -R&B, Revenue, RDD and Agriculture Production, Sunil Kumar Sharma today paid visit to Galigarh area and laid foundation stone of a road project, fulfilling the long pending demand of the people from Sarthal and Kunja area.
The two kilometer road stretch which will be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 3 crore connecting Galigarh, and Kunja villages.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister claimed that he had been working day and night for the sake of development and upliftment of common masses. He said the road and communication will be the top priority especially for the rural areas.
Sharma said that with the boom in road sector, there will be a complete change in the whole scenario of the Kishtwar constituency.  He claimed that several   Hydel Projects are being built in the area which will further generate employment for the youth of  Kishtwar
He said the people of  Kishtwar have always been supportive and pro-government. The days of darkness of 60 years have gone. Now the expectations of the people are increasing. ” Our mission is to ensure all round development in the area,” he added.
The minister was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana, SSP Kishtwar Abrar Choudhary and others.
