Sun Pharma Laboratories gives ambulance, requisite staff under CSR

JAMMU, Sept 22: As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities by Sun Pharma Laboratories, Bari Brahmana under the banner of Sun Pharma Community Healthcare Society started Medical Mobile Healthcare facility for rural areas of Samba District with introduction of ambulance and requisite medical/paramedical staff.
In a function at Bari Brahmana, the Mobile Healthcare unit was flagged off by Anuradha Gupta, District Development Commissioner Samba in presence of Lalit Mahajan, president Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA); Ashim Dutta, Plant Head; Dr. Vidhi Bhatial, CMO Samba; Mohammad Usman, Dy. SP, SDPO Bari Brahmana; Viraaj Malhotra, General Secretary BBIA and officials of Sun Pharma Laboratories.
Welcoming the guests, Ashim Dutta, Plant Head of the Unit highlighted various initiatives taken by Sun Pharma Group under CSR activity in Samba and other parts of the country.
He said that with the introduction of Mobile Healthcare unit equipped with requisite infrastructure and doctors and Para Medical Facility, the nearby villagers of Purmandal Block will be benefited and subsequently the Unit will cover other areas of Samba District.
Speaking on the occasion Lalit Mahajan requested Sun Pharma to adopt a village as model village with the requisite facilities of healthcare and cleanliness campaign under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan of Prime Minister.
Anuradha Gupta, DC Samba requested Lalit Mahajan to take up the matter with other corporate sectors working in Samba to come forward by providing the facilities under the CSR initiative.
