UDHAMPUR, Mar 10: Journalists of District Udhampur today constituted their body under the banner of Udhampur Press Club and elected Sumit Sharma of JK Channel Udhampur as the President.
Pankaj Saraf of Media 1 Channel and Dainik State Samachar was elected as Vice President, Ashish Dutt of JK Channel as General Secretary, Ashwani Sharma of Early Times Udhampur as Secretary, Arun Sharma of Dainik State Samachar as Joint Secretary, Aaftab Hindustani of Jammu Rising News as Treasurer, Vinay Sharma of Raftar Samachar as Spokesperson and Advocate Rahul Jandial as Legal Advisor.
The newly elected president said that he would take steps for the welfare of journalist community and improving the affairs of the Press Club Udhampur.
