JAMMU, Dec 29: Minister for PHE and MLA Marh Constituency, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar on Tuesday started road work in the bylanes of Gou-Manhasan area.
Speaking on the occasion, PHE Minister said that government was committed to ensure speedy and all round development in every nook and corner of the State with special focus on strengthening the vital sectors like road connectivity, potable water, health, education, electricity and social welfare.
The Minister said that PDP-BJP Government, which has mandate of the people of both the regions viz; Kashmir and Jammu, is working under a well-knit strategy to provide accountable, transparent and corruption-free administration at all levels. This time the people have voted for a change in the State and the Government also took a pledge to serve the people of all three regions with missionary spirit. The minister also issued on-the-spot instructions to the officers of R&B Department for completion of road in a time bound manner.
Later, he also kick-started the tiles work at Peer Baba on Gou Manhasan road in the presence of prominent persons, traders and social activists of the area.
