JAMMU, Jan 1: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sukhnandan Kumar today inaugurated Karloop to Gajansoo road work including link to Asrey Chak here.
The road with length of 3.5 km would be constructed under NABARD at the cost of Rs 1.87 crore, benefiting Karloop, Budhuchak, Saharan, Gajansoo and Asrey Chak areas.
The Minister instructed the engineers to complete the work within stipulated time maintaining quality standards in construction work.
The Minister reiterated the commitment of the Government to extend and improve basic amenities to the people and bringing marked improvement in road, education and health sector and in the delivery of potable water, ration and power supply to the citizens.
Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Rajan Mengi and other senior officers of the concerned departments were present on the occasion.
