JAMMU, Feb 19: Renowned sculpture from Jammu and Kashmir, Sukhjeet Singh Kukal served as jury for 61st National Exhibition of Art, held recently at New Delhi.
The Exhibition was organized by National Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi, who had nominated Sukhjeet as first jury (Selection Committee) for the Exhibition.
Sukhjeet is the youngest National awardee in Sculpture from J&K till date and fetched the prestigious award in the year 2001. Another prestigious award of the country which he fetched is national Award from Karnataka Chitrakala Parished, Bangalore (2001). Besides, he got AIFACS Award twice.
He also got the privilege to attend a workshop in Vallauris (France) organized by French Embassy in New Delhi.
