RAJOURI, Apr 30: A minor boy attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence at village Thandapani in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman giving details said that 17-year-old, Mohd Zamoorat, son of Mohd Zaman, resident of village Thandapani became serious after he consumed some poisonous substance at his residence today. The family members rushed him to Rajouri hospital. The doctors washed his stomach and then referred him to Govt Medical College, hospital Jammu. The police has taken cognizance of the matter. The cause behind this extreme step could not be known immediately.
