Sufism in India

Sir,
This  has a reference to the write-up of Dr K N Pandita DE, March 26,2016.
The World Sufi Conference was a timely mega event. This conference is clear cut terms made it clear to the world community that Islam is a religion of peace and firmly believes in world brotherhood. It was a message to those who malign Muslims as terrorists, subversives, anti human and babaric. Thus the conference  drew a plan to rescue it from bad state and present a factual humanist out-line of Islam.
The world sufi scholars also lauded India for its role to promote “Sufism”, its institutions from times immemoral. They also hailed the “unity in diversity” characteristics of India. They in one voice agreed that all the religions have thrieved in India. The contribution of Gautam, Nanak and Chisti in India for promoting sufism has no paralled in the world. The learned writer has rightly mentioned the names  of mystic poets Sanie, Attar and Rumi of Iran who also contributed to the “Sufi” school of thought.
Kashmir is called ”Rishwair” as we have great mystic poets such as Scuchkral, Shamas fakeer, Wahaf Khar and many many others who have been fountain heads of “Sufism” and mystic poetry.
Yours etc….
