JAMMU, Sept 23: All J&K Sikh Unity Forum urged the Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand for upgradation of the Government Boys High School, Simbal Camp to Higher Secondary level.
A meeting of the forum was held under the chairmanship of its convener Rajinder Singh, who while speaking said that there is no higher secondary school between RS Pura to Satwari.
He said that the students either have to go Satwari or RS Pura to continue their education after class 10th.
Singh said that the building of Government High School is in deplorable condition and needs immediate repairing. He urged the Deputy Chief Minister to provide special funds for the construction of additional rooms and for library also.
Among others present were Gurdeep Singh, Sangat Singh, Gurdev Singh, Abhijot Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Dev Raj Choudhary, etc.
