Suchetgarh deserves better deal: Tony, Israr

SUCHETGARH, Dec 14: National Confernce candidate for Suchetgarh T S Tony today said that his constituency deserves a far better attention with regard to development and implementation of various programmes for welfare of the people.
“If voted to power, National Conference Government will pay focussed attention towards road development, socio-economic transformation and implementation of the schemes designed for empowerment of weaker sections, women and people residing in far off places”, Mr Singh said while addressing election meetings at Tallar, Floura and Chanduchak villages of the constituency.
He referred to the endeavours made by Omar led Government during the past six years and said that despite being misrepresented, Suchetgarh remained in the focus of development. He said several initiatives were taken to ameliorate the lot of rural poor and ensuring faster development.
“This effort will get further momentum in the next six years”, he added.
Addressing these election meetings, National Conference leader and former DIG Israr Khan castigated elements inimical to peace, saying the attempts of dividing the people will not succeed before their strong urge for development.
He took on BJP, PDP and Congress for pursuing opportunistic politics with a sinister motive of grabbing power by hook or crook.
Mr Khan also made a fervent appeal to the voters to cast their votes in favour of Taranjeet Singh Tony.
