JAMMU, July 17: Demanding grace marks in Maths paper, aggrieved students of B Sc 6th semester today protested against Jammu University Examination Wing.
Protesting under the banner of ABVP and led by Deepak Gupta, the agitating students raised slogans against the Jammu University accusing it of playing with the future of thousands of students, who were assured grace marks in Maths as a part of the paper was out of syllabus.
According to Deepak Gupta, the Maths exam for B Sc 6th Semester was conducted in April and the results were declared on 13th of July 2019. He said that the HoD and Supervisor had agreed to the students to provide them 12 grace marks as the question paper was out of syllabus.
The students had approached the Controller of Examination for ratifying the issue of grace marking but the administration is now adopting a dilly-dally attitude on the grace marks thus forcing the aggrieved to protest, Deepak explained.
