RAJOURI, Sept 21: The students from local Degree College and various Govt schools in the town held protest at Thannamandi against non-availability of public transport.
They told that in most of the areas they have to suffer due to non- availability of transport facility. They said on number routes like Shahdra, Dara, Alal, Manyal etc there is shortage of vehicles due to which they have to suffer badly. They blocked road and started protest demonstration.
Tehsildar Thannamandi, Sahil Ali Shah reached the spot and pacified the protesting students. He assured them that transport facility will be provided to them on different routes. The students then suspended their protest.
