Students protest against out of syllabus paper

KISHTWAR, Feb 11: National Student Union of India (NSUI), district Kishtwar, today held a protest demonstration against State Board of Technical Education over what they alleged that the questions in their paper were out of syllabus.
Led by State general secretary NSUI, Wassim Saroori and district president Kishtwar, Saqib Lone, students from Government Polytechnic College Kishtwar held a strong protest demonstration at Kishtwar due to which traffic was disrupted for some time.
According to Ravi Kumar and Prakash Singh, 30 percent of Physics paper was out of syllabus. They demanded from board authorities to give grace marks in that paper.
Later, college authority assured to take up the issue with board members following which the students lifted their dharna.
Dheeraj Prakash, Bikram Singh, Umar Butt, Sagar Chand, Shagun Sharma, Vickey Kumar, Mohit Parihar, Shravan Shan, Zia Zargar, Sanjay, Arvind Shan and other NSUI activists took part in the protest.
