JAMMU, July 19: ABVP activists in SPMR College of Commerce and MAM College today held protest demonstrations against UG CBCS grading system for admission in 3rd semester.
At Commerce College, the protesting students raised slogans against the Jammu University administration. They said that such types of policies were destroying the future of students.
“CBCS was implemented without proper plan and policy.  These types of policies are putting the future of thousands of  students on stake,” they said and demanded that the admission should be given on the basis of earlier notification and those  who have passed any two subjects this year.
Piyush Khajuria,  secretary ABVP Jammu Mahangar,  while addressing the students, warned that if the JU administration does not review its order, ABVP will protest against such dictatorial behavior on large scale. Sahil Choudhry, Incharg Commerce College,   said that university should immediately look into this matter to save the future of the students.
Others, who addressed the protest demonstration, included Suraj Koul.
In MAM College, the protest was led by Ajaz and Jagdeep Chahal, Sahil Choudhary Animesh Tiwari, Parvinder Singh Shubham Gupta, Adarsh, Sunny Thakur and Prashant Jijyal.
