Srinagar, Apr 19: Students from Bijbehara today protested against Board of School Education (BOSE) for cancelling their two papers for which they had appeared in March this year.
Scores of students protested against BOSE at Partap Park, Press Enclave here, where they demanded that the authorities should consider their demand as the move has put their career at stake.
They demanded that their papers should be considered for the evaluation. “We were undergoing the bi-annual examination on 30th March this year, when the Board of School Education (BOSE) authorities came for an inspection, few students were caught resorting to unfair means,” said Junaid Ahmad Dar, a student.
“In spite of barring those 4 students who were caught copying, BOSE punished all the 60 students who were writing their papers at the center,” he added.
The BOSE has, as per the students cancelled two of their papers-Geography and Education. They demanded immediate revocation of the cancellation order so that they can pursue their studies.
