DODA, Nov 19: The students of ITI College held protest and blocked the Gowari-Thathri-Doda road against non-availability of transport facilities.
A large number of students assembled at Bangrow under the leadership of Rakesh Kumar at Gandoh and held protest. They blocked the vehicular movement on Gowari-Thathri-Doda road.
Amid slogans, the students were demanding regular and timely transportation facilities. The protesting students alleged that due to non-availability of transport facility they reach late to their schools and colleges everyday, which also hampers their education.
After getting information, officers from district administration and MLA Bhadarwah Daleep Singh Parhiar reached the spot and assured the protesting students that their issue will be resolved in the shortest possible time.
On the assurance, the protesting students dispersed and vehicular movement was restored on the road.
