JAMMU, Aug 1: Under able guidance of District Election Officer Avny Lavasa, an awareness program was organized by District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Devinder Singh Manhas along with DLMTs Sugandh, Neeraj Jamwal and Satpal Kour regarding the electoral process at GGHSS Canal Road, where a large number of students from classes 9 to 12 were awared about the process of registration as a voter as well as various Forms to be filled for correction in name, address etc.
The Principal of the school, Parveen Raina appreciated the efforts of team for imparting awareness and enriching students regarding electoral process and importance of casting vote in elections.
Various queries posed by students regarding election process were redressed by DLMTs.
