JAMMU, Jan 31: Fire and Emergency Services Department today apprised students about the equipment and techniques being used for dousing fire and handling natural calamities.
A spokesman of the department said that students of Government Higher Secondary School for Girls, Thanamandi Rajouri along with staff members visited the Fire and Emergency Station Headquarter Rajouri for obtaining information about the equipment and techniques being used by the personnel of the department during fire incidents and natural calamities.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of R C Raina, Deputy Director Fire and Emergency Services Command Jammu, Rajouri and Poonch.
On the occasion, lecture and demonstration were conducted by Maqbool Hussain, Sub-Officer.
