This is in response to an article “Dying student political activism” written by Ravia Gupta
The future of the country depends on today’s students and hance it is important that they are aware of the issues around them and are ready to take a stand on what they believe in. It is disheartening to see students coming out of universities on the roads and becoming puppets in the hands of political parties.
However, campus politics and student activism often take an urgly turn with youngesters resorting to violence and vandalising public property. This should not happen, as colleges after all are the places to study.
