JAMMU, Dec 8: The reserved category employees have urged upon the Government to provide them their due share in the promotions.
In a joint meeting of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe employees held here today, the members pointed out that several category employees are ignored while according promotions under different categories, especially in the engineering wings. They however, expressed their satisfaction over the recent promotions made in the engineering wing of R&B where several executive engineers of the reserved category were elevated. They hoped that Government will do justice with the reserved category (SC/ST) employees of the other cadre and provide them their due share.
