JAMMU, Aug 1: With a strong constellation of dedicated and nationalist party activists in its volley and air of positivity due to PM Narendra Modi’s leadership there is no reason to believe that BJP will not rise as a formidable political force in the Union Territory of J&K.
This was asserted by senior BJP leader and former Minister, Bali Bhagat while addressing a district Rural Jammu BJYM Working Committee meeting at Gajansoo Marh here, today.
The former Minister said that the inspiring aura which the party has been emanating across the country through its people-centric policies and groundbreaking decisions will surely give dividends in the UT of J&K if the BJP cadre will work in unison. He emphasized on giving resourceful guidance to ground level workers for spreading awareness among the people about what BJP has in offing for them as this will help in making party base strong. “There is nothing to hide because BJP’s actions, decisions and upcoming plans are sufficiently bountiful for one and all in the country therefore an honest spread of word regarding its ideology will serve the purpose and is enough to decimate its opponents as never before”, he said adding that what is required to accomplish this job is to hold seminars, symposium, Abhiyas Vargs (Training Camps) to provide adequate training to party cadre so that disseminating BJP’s ideology among masses becomes effective and convenient.
The senior BJP leader said along with goodwill and public welfare outlook, the party also needs superior electoral strategies, robust planning, hard work, and a plausible voter outreach programme. He also advised the concerned unit heads to constitute a committee at polling booth level in view of forthcoming elections.
Former MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Minister Ch Sukhnandan, BDC Chairman, Surinder Kumar Bhagat, BJP Kissan Morcha president , Omi Khajuria, BDC member Geetu Aulakh, MC Chairman, Ghau Manhasa, Jatinder Singh, Vikas Choudhary and district president, BJYM Deepak Pandey also spoke on the occasion and stressed upon strengthening the party at grassroots level.
