Strike of PHE employees enters 3rd day

JAMMU, Sept 27: The ‘Kaam Chhoro Hartal’ of PHE Employees United Front entered 3rd consecutive day today in support of their demands.
The strike is being spearheaded under the banner of PHE Employees United Front through out the Jammu division with demand of regularization of daily rated workers, release of their month wise wages, clearance of all pending earned wages of workers, compassionate appointments to the next of kin of deceased daily wagers, illegal rider of 12 months wages drawn before 3/16.
The leaders of PHE Employees United Front Rajinder Singh Taj, Ravi Hans, Jyoti Parkash, Bhanu Partap Singh, Navdeep Singh, Mohan Lal, Hoshair Singh, Binkel Manhas, Rashpal Singh, and Vishaw Dubey appealed the UT Government to think about the solution of the genuine demands of the workers other than the repressive measure which are only leading to confrontation and instigating the workers who have been struggling for bread and butter.
They further said that the present UT rulers have no sympathy with down trodden class. He said that the agitating employees are nationalists and it is the struggle of national forces and this Government cannot curb the democratic and fundamental rights of the workers.
The leaders said that the ongoing struggle will continue till the solution of already agreed demands of the daily rated workers.
