JAMMU, Mar 14: BJP general secretary, (Org), Ashok Koul during one-day pravas of district Jammu South, RS Pura, Miran Sahib Mandal, conducted series of meetings in Booth No 29, RS Pura.
Meetings were organized under the presidency of Mandal president, Bikram Sandhu.
Former Minister, Shamlal Choudhary, president of BJP district Jammu South, Rekha Mahajan, Municipal Committee, Chairman, Sat Pal Pappi, Vice Chairman, Kishore Sharma, Inderjeet Sharma (org) secretary, Vibgag, district general secretary and constituency in charge, Akash Chopra, Mandal Prabhari, Vikram Sharma were prominent among those present in the meeting.
Besides, Shakti Kendra Parmukh, Garu Ram, booth president, Shashi Uttam and Panna Pramukhs were also present in the meeting and later met with beneficiaries of various schemes.
In the meeting, “booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan” was discussed threadbare by the senior party leaders.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the meeting, laid stress on the importance strong organizational network at the ground level. To achieve this purpose, he asked the party leaders to ensure “Booth Sashaktikaran” well before the coming elections. He asked the party leaders to strengthen the party at the polling booth level.
Koul, said that the party will only be strengthened when the organization will be strong at booth. He said that during this “Booth Sashakti-Karan Abhiyan” party leaders will fortify its base by visiting every house in the region. He said that under this Abhiyan, the party leaders will approach all the needy as well as the beneficiaries in the society, and will hold major joining programmes and mega rallies in both Assembly constituencies of Jammu South.
Sham Choudhary said that every BJP activist is ready for elections and we must work incessantly for ensuring the historic and grand winner of the party in elections. He said that the entire organization should get involved in the whole exercise to reach the booth-level workers and the prominent persons in the booth.
Rekha Mahajan asserted that to strengthen booths, the party has decided on four key steps. The first is to ensure each booth across the Jammu district South has 200 Karyakartas and WhatsApp groups to connect with the voters. Secondly, the booth workers will devise ways of disseminating the PM’s monthly radio programme, Mann Ki Baat. Rekha also asked its cadres to deliberate every week to 10 days on their efforts to empower booths.
