JAMMU, Mar 13: Former MLC and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Vikram Randhawa has asked the party cadre to aware the masses about the schemes launched by the Central Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi so as to strengthen the party at the grass root level.
He stated this while chairing a meeting to strengthen the organization from the booth-level, and reach out to prospective voters from all segments and age-groups so as to get their support in every booth here, today.
He said that various flagship schemes were launched by the Central Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi including Ayushman Health Card, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, etc for the benefit of the common masses.
“As a beneficiary, a man or woman will receive the Ayushman Health Card which will enable him or her to avail cashless treatment and hospitalisation and with the Golden Card, he or she can avail the benefits of the scheme at any of the empanelled public and private hospitals”, senior BJP leader said.
“BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is working on the theme of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikaas’ and is committed for the overall development of the areas of Jammu”, Randhawa said, adding that no ward will be deprived of basic amenities and development of every citizen is our main motto.
He said that many projects are in pipeline for Jammu which will change the face of the city.
“BJP is working to mitigate problems of the people and give them respite from miseries which they were facing from the past seven decades”, he said, adding that Central dispensation has provided surplus funds for the development works across the Union Territory and that is the reason behind irresistible development trail going on in Jammu and Kashmir. He said instead of talking about big things the BJP leadership is focusing on local issues which can make a big difference in the lives of people.
