JAMMU, Oct 15: Stray calf shed was inaugurated at Municipal Veterinary complex, Dogra Hall which was constructed by JMC at an estimated cost of Rs 4.97 lakh.
The shed was inaugurated by Commissioner, JMC Kiran Wattal in presence of officers/officials of JMC including Asstt Commissioner (Rev), Executive Engineers, Health Officer, Municipal Veterinary Officer, Chief Transport Officer, Asstt Executive Engineers.
The representative of various NGOs and Gow Shala Incharge assured Commissioner of full support in future also.
Commissioner JMC also apprised the NGOs and Gow Shala Incharge about the infrastructure being developed at Roop Nagar for sterilization of stray dogs and infrastructure for sick/injured animals which shall also be inaugurated shortly.
