JAMMU, Mar 26: Over 250 students from Kargil stranded at Kargil House Jammu have appealed the administration of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory to either permit them to go home through road or make arrangements to airlift them from Jammu.
“With the limited resources available at Kargil House, it has become difficult for the authorities to look after us and provide necessary requirements.
They further said that there are more than 2500 families from Ladakh stranded in Jammu and waiting in the wings to go back to their homes, adding that in the present lockdown situation going back to our homes seems almost impossible.
The driver of one of the 50 passenger Vehicles stranded in Jammu said that they are ready to take Ladakhi people to home if administration permits them to do so.
