Stop atrocities on youth, students in Valley: Bhim

JAMMU, Oct 21: Chief patron of National Panthers party and human rights activist Prof Bhim Singh has warned the Govt to stop bulldozing, detaining and suppressing the youth and the students in Kashmir valley.
In a press statement, NPP leader alleged that the NC-Congress Government used the same kind of fascist method in fifties and again in sixties by killing students in 1966 inside Science College Jammu and detaining hundreds of students in Jammu.
Prof Singh accused Modi Government for sheltering PDP Government only because RSS has grabbed power in J&K for the first time with RSS backed MLA as Dy Chief Minister.
Bhim Singh demanded immediate release of all the students and youth detained in police stations or in the jails unconditionally and without any delay. This is unfortunate that a writ petition filed by the Panthers Party seeking intervention of the Supreme Court under Section 92 of J&K Constitution to direct the President of India to advice the Governor of J&K to dismiss the PDP-BJP Government in J&K and impose Governor’s Rule without any delay.
He pointed out that schools in Kashmir valley are closed, colleges shut, Government offices have remained closed and there is no rule of law rather no rule at all. This is not democracy as there is no rule of law. Old ones proudly speak that rule of Maharaja Hari Singh was thousands times better than present democracy where even the children are not getting milk for their survival, the cattle are not getting feed, the patients are not getting medical treatment nor even medicine.
NPP leader said that the failure of J&K Government to release the students will not be allowed under any circumstances even though fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution of India are not applicable to J&K under the garb of Article 370 which has been used to keep the citizens of India in J&K away from their fundamental rights.
