JAMMU, July 17: Police today recovered a stolen Tavera car from Talab Tillo area, falling under the jurisdiction of Nowabad Police Station.
A police spokesman said that, Fayaz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Ismail, resident of Nowgam, Pulwama had lodged a complaint with Nowabad Police Station regarding stealing of his Tavera car from fish market Gumat, yesterday.
After registering FIR number 103/13 under Section 379 RPC, police started investigation and alerted all the naka parties and neighbouring police units, he added.
During naka checking at Talab Tillo, police recovered the vehicle, he said, adding that the thief managed to escape from the spot.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
