JAMMU, May 26: Nowabad police under ‘Operation Chetak’ recovered a stolen motorcycle within 24 hours.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged by Ranjit Singh, son of Madan Singh of Reasi with Police Post Canal Road stating that some unknown person(s) had stolen his pulsar motorcycle bearing registration number JK20A-3981.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR No 54/18 under relevant Sections of law was registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
During investigation, a team from Nowabad Police Station recovered the stolen motorcycle, which was parked near Bus Stand by some unknown person. With the recovery of the stolen motorcycle, Nowabad police worked out the vehicle theft case within 24 hours.
Police team led by SHO Nowabad Inspector Neeraj Bhagat recovered the stolen motorcycle under the supervision of SDPO West Pranav Mahajan, SP City Dr Vinod Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
