JAMMU, Mar 31: Acting swiftly, police recovered a Maruti car from Bishnah area, which was stolen from Karbala area of Peer Mitha.
As per police sources, today morning a complaint was filed by Mehmood Ahmed, son of Gulzar Ahmed OF Mohalla Dalpattian with police station Peer Mitha stating that some unidentified persons have stolen his Maruti car bearing registration number JK02D-9211 from Karbala area.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 42/16 was registered at Peer Mitha police station and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, Peer Mitha police recovered the stolen car from Bishnah area.
Hunt is going on arrest the thieves.
Police team led by SHO Peer Mitha police station Inspector Javed Malik recovered the stolen car under the supervision of SDPO City Vivek Shekhar Sharma and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
