JAMMU, July 31: Stephens Group of Institutions, under Dr Aparna Educational Trust, today hosted its inaugural convocation and felicitation ceremony for the 1st Batches of Post Basic BSc Nursing (Batch 2018-20) and BSc Nursing (Batch 2017-2021).
Dr A S Bhatiya, Principal of GMC Rajouri, graced the event as the Chief Guest for ceremonies, alongside other guests, including Dr Kamal Saini (IGP Retd), Chairman of Stephens Group of Institutions, and other dignitaries.
The faculty members received well-deserved appreciation, and the toppers were congratulated for their exceptional achievements on the occasion.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Joyce B Singh, Assistant Professor, Stephens College of Nursing, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting and a captivating devotional song presented by the students. Graduates were conferred degrees and medals, with University toppers receiving mementos for their academic excellence.
Manoj Kotru, Administrator and Kheema Peshin, Vice-Principal, Stephens Group of Institutions, extended best wishes to the alumni for their future careers and congratulated all on their successful graduation journey.
The felicitation ceremony honored passed out batches from various courses, including Post Basic Nursing, BSc, GNM, and Multipurpose, bringing joy and appreciation to the students.
Kavita Rana, Associate Professor, presented the alumni report, while Prof Ritu Gupta and Joyce B Singh anchored the event. The alumni expressed their heartfelt thanks to the management and faculty for their unwavering support.
Prof Ritu Gupta, Associate Professor, Kavita Rana, and Assistant Professor Joyce B Singh efficiently coordinated the entire event under the guidance of Manoj Kotru. The management felicitated all the delegates for their valuable presence.
