Step father makes daughter pregnant

JAMMU, Jan 14: Gangyal Police arrested a step father for raping and impregnating his minor daughter.
As per police sources, a woman lodged a complaint with Police Station Gangyal stating that her husband (step father of victim) namely Prabhu, a resident of Bihar, at present Apna Vihar raped her 15-year-old daughter and made her pregnant.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 05/2022 under relevant Sections was registered at Police Station Gangyal and hunt was launched to nab the alleged accused.
On specific information, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh conducted raid and apprehended the alleged accused.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
