JAMMU, June 11: Gangyal Police arrested a step father, who tried to outrage modesty of his minor daughter.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Gangyal regarding a man identified as Rakesh Kumar, son of Banarsi Dass of Ambika Colony Langer, who tried to outrage modesty of his minor daughter aged around 15 years.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 98/2021 under Sections 354 IPC and 8 Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered at Police Station Gangyal and the accused has been arrested.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
