NEW DELHI: Homegrown premium bicycle-maker Starkenn Sports today launched its latest model Propel Advanced SL 0′ a heafty price tag of Rs 11 lakh.
Propel Advanced, which is used by world famous Team Giant – Alpecin riders Marcel Kittel and John Degenkolb – is the fastest road bike in the world, the Pune-based company claimed in a statement.
“Our decision to launch the Propel Advanced SL 0 is aimed at bringing in the best of the cycling world to Indian cyclists who want to take up cycling at a professional level,” Starkenn Sports managing director and chief executive Pravin V Patil said, adding the latest model was launched at the ongoing Auto Expo.
India is gradually opening up to the concept of bicycling as a hobby and sport and the company plans to provide the best to its customers, he added.
The bicycle features advance technologies like the speedcontrol SLR brake system, integrated seat-post and internal cable routing, the company said. (AGENCIES)
