JAMMU, Mar 25: St. Xavier Convent School, Barnai celebrated its 21st Annual Day and Prize Distribution Function in the School premises, here today.
Speaker Legislative Assem-bly, Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion, while Special Secretary, Leena Padha was the guest of honour.
SM Gill, Ex MLC and Father Udhay Singh, St. Paul’s Church, Residency Road were also present on the occasion.
The programme started with a prayer to invoke the blessings of the Lord Almighty.
Mime, Skit, Yoga, Hindi Songs, Punjabi Songs, Western Songs and Dancing items were part of the programme. The heart touching live songs, were fully enjoyed by the parents and guests.
The songs and dancing items performed by 1st to 12th classes were ecstatic. Students performed Satya Bhama and Rukmani which touched every ones heart.
The School Annual Report was presented by Er. HR Padha, the Director of the Institution.
The Mementoes, Certificates and Cash Prizes were distributed to overall position holders and subject-wise merit holders by the chief guest, guest of honour and other distinguished guests.
The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the management and teacher’s for excellent overall results.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Principal, Pankaj Vihans.
