JAMMU, Nov 22 : The Traders of several trade organizations while expressing strong resentment over the unethical attitude of Jammu and Kashmir State Taxes Department officials have sought the intervention of senior leaders of Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market Jammu in order to get them relieved of the fallout of the “Inspector Raj” on their business establishments.
Several delegations of different Trader Associations met the Federation president, Rattan Lal Gupta, general secretary, Deepak Gupta and other office bearers today and apprised them of the dire circumstances which have been created by the Inspector Raj of the Taxes Department officials who throng to their business establishments with full caravan of police and threaten them to file the GSTR3-B return.
These officials resort to all type of undue pressure in front of the customers and threaten them of dire consequences in case they fail to file their GSTR3-B return.
They further apprised the Federation leaders that whenever these officials stormed to their establishments, they come along with the police as if we have committed some crime. Businessmen informed Federation that some of the business establishments were raided in front of common masses putting a blot on their business concerns and added that this was being done in spite of repeated requests that they will file GSTR3-B returns as soon as possible.

He said that if the Taxes Department officials don’t mend their ways, they will be forced to come on roads for which the Department will be responsible. Gupta requested the Sales Taxes Department to prove their credentials as of felicitators and not as tyrant of Inspector Raj.
