SSSM discusses problems of Machail yatries

KISHTWAR, Aug 17: A general body meeting of Shiv Shakti Sewa Mandal (SSSM), Kishtwar was held under the chairmanship of Rajesh Sharma, SSSM general secretary of SSSM, to discuss problems being faced by Machail yatries.
The meeting showed their anguish over the poor arrangements by the concerned departments viz, PWD, Health Department, BSNL authorities for their lackadaisical approach in meeting the aspirations of the yatries in particular and public in general.
The meeting observed that it is painful that PWD (R&B) department has failed to come up with the proper arrangements, as they have left the road right from Kishtwar to Gulabagarh in dilapidation condition and the yatries are sufferings extensively on this route. “Besides, no sign boards to the convenience of yatries have been installed from Gulabgarh Padder to Machail Bhawan by the department”, they added.
“The Health Department has also failed to provide essential medicines to the yatries enroute from Gulangarh to Machail Bhawan while the BSNL authorities have also failed to provide continuous mobile networking services at Base Camp (Gulabgarh Paddar) which has led the yatries to face enormous difficulties”, they expressed.
Others who attended the meeting include Sher Singh Rana, Chanderjeet Sharma, Roshan Lal, Kunj Lal, Bansi Lal Thakur, Ravi Bhagat and Rajaesh Gupta.
