SAMBA, Sept 17: SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, held a meeting cum interaction session with the next of kin (NoK) of police martyrs of District Samba at District Police Lines (DPL) here.
During interaction, SSP Samba enquired about the wellbeing of Noks of each of martyr family and about the studies of their wards. The SSP informed that all SRO-43 cases are forwarded to higher ups and no case is pending at our level. SSP assured that the Police Department is committed to extend all possible help and support for the welfare of martyrs families.
While speaking on the occasion, SSP said that martyrs are the pride of our Department who had made sacrifice of their lives for the cause of nation. He gave a patient hearing to the issues put forth by NoKs and assured them that their grievances will be redressed on priority.
All the family members of police martyrs were also familiarized about the various schemes, which have been launched by the Police Department/Government for the welfare of NoKs of police martyrs. On the occasion, Additional Superintendent of Police, Samba, SDPO Vijaypur, Dy.SP DAR, Samba, Dy.SP Police Component Samba and other Police officers and officials were also present.
It is pertinent to mention here that, DySP DAR being nodal officer and all SHOs are regularly visiting to the homes of police martyrs to enquiry about their well-being.
