SSP reviews security arrangements at Bawe Wali Mata Temple

JAMMU, Sept 28: In view of forthcoming Navratra festival, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Dr Sunil Gupta reviewed the security arrangements at Bawe Wali Mata Temple, here today.
SSP was accompanied by SDPO City East Chandan Kohli and SHO Police station Bagh-e-Bahu Inspector Vijay Choudhary.
SSP visited the morchas established there and examined the proposed plan for crowd management. He directed police personal to remain extra alert while performing duties, checking/frisking and be polite and helping while dealing with pilgrims.
He also appealed the general public to cooperate with police at frisking points, remain vigilant while traveling in passenger vehicles and crowded areas, don’t touch any abandoned objects, informs police immediately on seeing any suspicious persons, object and material, use the service of “Dial 100” for any type of information, beware of pickpockets and obey the traffic rules.
