POONCH, July 19: As a welfare measure for jawans Poonch Police has renovated mess facility in DPL poonch. The upgraded mess facility was inaugurated by SSP Poonch Rajiv Pandey today.
DySP DAR Mohan Sharma, DySP Operation Bhishm Dubey, SHO Poonch Sachinder Pal, other officers and officials of DPL Poonch and media fraternity were also present on the occasion.
SSP Poonch, speaking on the occasion, said that subordinate staff is the strength of police and their welfare is utmost priority .
The jawans hailed the authorities for upgrading the much needed infrastructure with all the facilities in mess.
Later a valediction ceremony for 26th batch of Vocational Training Centre of Poonch Police was organized. In the ceremony 60 students, were awarded diploma in different skills including stenography, cutting tailoring and computer. Various students shared their experiences and suggestions in the velediction ceremony and appreciated role of police for providing opportunities to the youth to channelize their potential.
The SSP Poonch said that Poonch police is committed for it’s endeavours to support youth in all the ways for their welfare.
